All evaluators using the CESA 3 Evaluation Model are to attend an annual training each year. This one-day training completed every year allows teams to recalibrate and focus on best practices and priorities for staff as a district.

 

The CESA 3 Evaluation Model is grounded in Dr. Charlotte Danielson’s research using the framework of the Clusters: Clarity and Accuracy; Learning Environment; Classroom Management; Instructional Engagement; Successful Learning; Professionalism.

 

Participants will:

  • Review the process guide (Teacher & Principal)
  • Have time for initiative inquiry
  • Explore how SLO’s improve teacher practice
  • Spend time with a cluster study: using framework language
  • Explore conflict agility
  • Watch videos for calibration
  • Spend time on team planning
