Transform assessment into meaningful action! CESA 3’s Assessment à la Carte Series offers four practical, hands-on workshops designed to help educators strengthen assessment practices, make sense of student data, provide meaningful feedback, and explore how AI can support instructional decisions.

Choose the sessions that best meet your professional learning needs, whether you’re building a student-centered assessment culture, using data to guide instruction, refining formative assessment strategies, or exploring AI-powered assessment tools.

Explore the Four Workshops:

  • November 19, 2026 | Assessment as Empowerment: Design a student-centered learning environment where meaningful assessment supports student growth.
  • December 2, 2026 | From Numbers to Next Steps: Make sense of formative, interim, and summative data to identify learning needs and plan instructional next steps.
  • December 14, 2026 | Move the Needle with Formative Practices: Go beyond praise and grades with clear learning targets, actionable feedback, and responsive instruction.
  • February 8, 2027 | AI as an Assessment Assistant: Explore how AI can help design assessments, identify learning trends, and develop targeted instructional strategies.

All workshops are held from 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. at CESA 3.

Your learning doesn’t end when the workshop does! Each session includes customized follow-up coaching, available in person or virtually, to help you confidently implement new strategies at your own pace.

There is no cost to participate! All four workshops and follow-up coaching opportunities are fully funded by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI).

Choose what works for you and turn assessment insights into meaningful student learning!
