As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to reshape education, school leaders must be equipped with the knowledge, strategies, and policies to guide responsible AI integration. AI & Education: Strategic Planning for Schools is a one-day immersive workshop designed for school district leaders and AI coordinators to develop a structured approach to AI implementation in their schools.

Throughout the day, participants will:
✅ Finalize their district’s AI Framework, ensuring alignment with educational goals, ethical standards, and operational priorities.
✅ Develop an AI Action Plan, outlining key steps, assigned responsibilities, and success metrics.
✅ Begin drafting an AI Guidebook to provide governance, instructional strategies, and policies for AI use in their district.

The workshop will feature guided discussions, breakout sessions, and hands-on working time to ensure each district leaves with tangible deliverables that can be immediately applied. Using the CESA 3 AI Guidebook as a model, participants will craft policies that address ethical AI use, student engagement, instructional integration, and district operations.

By the end of the session, leadership teams will walk away with a clear roadmap for integrating AI into their schools, fostering innovation while maintaining equity, security, and educational excellence.
